3. Types of Cookies We Use

3.1. By management entity

  • First-party: managed by CARSOFIX SL from its own domains.
  • Third-party: managed by external entities providing services to the site (analytics, payments, maps, social media).

3.2. By duration

  • Session: deleted when the browser is closed.
  • Persistent: remain stored for the period indicated.

3.3. By purpose

  • Technical (necessary): enable navigation and use of the site. No consent required.
  • Preferences / personalisation: remember settings (language, currency).
  • Analytics / measurement: allow aggregated analysis of user behaviour. Consent required.
  • Behavioural advertising: display ads based on browsing profiles. Consent required.

5. Legal Basis

  • Technical cookies: Art. 22.2 LSSI (consent exception).
  • Analytics and marketing cookies: user consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR and Art. 22.2 LSSI).

6. Consent and Preference Management

On your first visit a cookie banner compliant with AEPD standards is shown. You may:

  • Accept all cookies;
  • Reject all non-necessary cookies with the same ease (same prominence);
  • Configure each category separately;
  • Withdraw consent at any time from the preferences panel in the footer.

Consent is refreshed at most every 12 months, in line with current AEPD criteria.

7. International Transfers

Some third-party cookies (Google, Meta, Stripe) may involve data transfer to the United States. These transfers are covered by:

  • The EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of 10/07/2023), where the recipient is certified.
